1. Overview

This privacy policy describes how the Android app Multiplayer Tic tac toe (“the App”) handles information. The App is a local, pass-and-play (and solo-vs-bot) game. It does not require an internet connection, does not create user accounts, and does not send your data to the developer or to any third-party service.

2. Information we collect

The App stores limited information only on your device, using Android DataStore preferences. This may include:

• Player display names you enter for matches
• App settings (sound, music, haptics, theme, dynamic color)
• Match preferences (player count, bot difficulty, who moves first)
• An in-progress match snapshot so you can resume later
• Local game statistics (wins, draws, streaks, recent match summaries)

The App does not collect personal identifiers such as email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising IDs. It does not use analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs.

3. How information is used

On-device data is used solely to:

• Run and resume gameplay on your device
• Remember your settings and preferences
• Show local statistics within the App

This information is not used for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

4. Data sharing and sale

We do not sell, rent, or share your App data with third parties. Because the App does not transmit gameplay or settings data off the device, there is no server-side copy held by the developer.

Google Play and the Android operating system may process limited technical information (for example, install and update metadata) under their own privacy policies when you download or update the App from Google Play. That processing is controlled by Google, not by this App.

5. Permissions

The App requests only:

• Vibrate — optional haptic feedback on moves and results. You can turn haptics off in Settings.

The App does not request internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage permissions.

6. Data retention and deletion

Data remains on your device until you clear it. You can reset statistics from the App’s Settings screen. Uninstalling the App removes local App data from that device (subject to any device backup you have enabled).

If Android Backup / device transfer is enabled on your device, local preferences may be included in your personal device backups managed by Google or your OEM. Those backups are governed by the relevant platform privacy policy.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is a casual offline game and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It does not require an account or online features. If you believe a child has provided personal information through some other channel related to this App, contact us using the details below and we will address the request.

8. Security

Because data stays on your device, security depends on your device’s own protections (screen lock, OS updates, and who has physical access). We do not operate a backend that stores your App data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy if the App’s data practices change (for example, if online features are added later). The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised, and the new policy will be posted at this URL.
